Embutidos Caula, S. L. Produces dried-cured meat products. The history of the company dates back to year 1942, when the factory began producing fuets, salchichones (dried-cured pork sausagespork sausage) and butifarras (Catalonian sausage). From the beginning these products were supplied mainly to the local market although they later became available throughout the region and the rest of Spain. In 1989 the company began to supply markets outside Spain and was awarded an EEC type approval certificate. In 1991 the factory was refitted in line with EU regulations and the it was among the first in Girona to be certified for intra-Community trade.

Bureau Veritas certified that the company met the requirements set out in the UNE EN ISO 9001/2000 Standard.

Our product range contains Cured Hams (Serrano Ham), Fuets, Salchichones, Chorizos, Salamis, Sliced products and a new range of products, that covers all assortment of self service products, it means practically packed small portion of our meat products, or our famous TAPAS, snack packages containing sliced meat products along with cheese or olives.
